The idea behind this project is to explore an alternative parietodynamic solar facade, designed primarily to preheat indoor air in winter in order to reduce heating requirements. This approach is based on recovering solar radiation and storing the energy received in a wall that could store it. To avoid any risk of the wall overheating in summer, a bypass system would be installed to short-circuit the system in summer.
This 18-month, single-partner project is 100% funded by the Normandy Region to the tune of 108,000 euros.
