After the implementation of the shell pavers on the Caen la mer pilot site at the Saint Jean Eudes gymnasium in Caen, the time has come for the ESITC Caen team to instrument this area.
The equipment deployed is composed of a weather station and various sensors at man's height, on the surface of the paving stones and at the depth of the sub-layer in order to collect data on the capacity of the product developed to retain humidity and thus limit urban heat islands during periods of heatwave.
We look forward to the summer of 2022!
