Fresh-Ecopavers project wins Urban Lab experimentation program

One of the objectives of the Fresh-Ecopavers project is to define a Parisian area for experimenting with shell pavers in order to prove that in dense urban environments, pavers have the capacity to fight against urban heat islands.

Initially, the Fresh-Ecopavers project defined two pilot areas: the first in the Caen la Mer agglomeration, in Caen, and the second in Alençon.

Fresh-Ecopavers being financed within the framework of the CPIER Vallée de la Seine, and considering the theme towards which the project has turned, it is quite natural that we looked for an experimentation area in Paris.

We applied for the Urban Lab program and the project was awarded. The objective is now for the Urban Lab to accompany us in our search for a suitable area for the Fresh-Ecopavers pavers.
