3DPARE, ARTIFICIAL REEFS PRINTED IN 3D

At the dawn of the artificial reef manufacturing phase using 3D printing technology, ESITC Caen and the research laboratory are organizing an event to publicize the project.

This will be an opportunity to recall the stakes of this project and the fruit of the work accomplished since its launch in November 2017.

 

EXCEPTIONAL CONFERENCES

During this evening, different stakeholders of the project will come to present the results of their research.

Representatives from the University of Cantabria, ESITC Caen (the Caen School of Construction Engineering), Bournemouth University, the University of Porto and the IPMA (Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere) will be present.

2 external speakers have accepted our invitation and will give a presentation on their field of expertise:

• Mr. Alban Mallet, CEO of the XtreeE Company: New developments in 3D printing
• M. Cédric Hubas, Researcher at UMR BOREA: Optimization of artificial reefs printed in 3D - Study of substrate colonization
